Melcon has NICEIC Approved Contractor status, which we have held for many years. We have built a reputation for reliability and quality in electrical contracting throughout Herefordshire and the wider surrounding areas.
In 2008 Chris Williams took over as our Managing Director, he has been with the Company since 1999.
In 2019 Gareth Roberts became Operations Director after starting his career at Melcon as an Apprentice in 1994.
Melcon’s team consists of local Herefordshire people, 17 in total, 4 of which are currently on Electrical Engineering Apprenticeships. In fact, 90% of our Electricians started their career at Melcon as Apprentices.
In 2018 we moved to purpose built premises in the Rotherwas Enterprise Zone. We are the easy to spot big red building on Vincent Carey Road.
Our ISO9001 accredited team take pride in delivering quality assured solutions that meet our client’s needs. We specialise in Commercial and Industrial projects and many of our prominent Herefordshire clients have been using Melcon for years for all their electrical needs.
